Comprised of a precisely designed, billet machined, direct-bolt-on turbo inlet and oversized silicone intake hose, this kit delivers 10% more airflow than stock for maximum performance and throttle response with the Unitronic Carbon Fiber Intake System or factory intake system and either the factory turbocharger or Garrett® PMAX 2260S turbocharger.
DESIGN

Using in-house Creaform® 3D scanning equipment, Unitronic Hardware Engineers capture exact dimensions of the engine bay and surrounding components, enabling them to design parts with millimeter-perfect accuracy. This data is imported into advanced CAD software, where components are rapidly prototyped and 3D printed for test fitting and validation. The result? A direct bolt-on solution with OEM-like fitment, no surprises, and dependable performance.

Unitronic's High Flow Turbo Inlet Kit is a complete solution engineered to optimize airflow and maximize performance for the MK8 GTI. Featuring a CNC-machined billet aluminum turbo inlet paired with a multi-ply reinforced silicone hose, this kit eliminates the airflow restrictions of the factory components. Together, these pieces work in harmony to significantly reduce turbulence and pressure drop, delivering up to 10% more airflow to the turbocharger. The result is quicker spool, improved throttle response, and increased power potential—especially when combined with Unitronic’s Carbon Fiber Intake and Air Duct. Built to handle increased boost levels with seamless integration, this upgrade is ideal for both daily-driven and more heavily-tuned vehicles.
