Waterfest 26 was back for its 26th edition after a break since 2019 and the Unitronic crew was out in large numbers, driving down several development vehicles from our Canadian HQ to connect with customers and fans at Atco Dragway on September 10-11, 2022.
Customers were greeted in the large Unitronic booth with some of the latest VW/Audi models belonging to Unitronic as well as staff and customer vehicles, all rocking various Unitronic products. Our hardware stands were also filled with many of our newest and upcoming items, giving our customers a first-hand look at the many Unitronic products coming down the pipeline.
This show season, there's been lots of buzz around our newest Carbon Fiber Intake System and Turbo Inlets for the C8 RS 6 and RS 7 (now available in 5 different finishes), our upcoming B9 2.9T and B9 3.0T Downpipes, our all-new UniFLEX device, MPI Upgrade Kits for the MQB platform, our various Dogbone Mounts and many more upcoming products which were prominently displayed on our hardware stands.
We also had lots of good conversations around our MK8 GTI which was sporting our new Carbon Fiber Intake System and Air Duct, our Intercooler Upgrade for the MK8 GTI & R and our our upcoming Cat-Back Exhaust System as well.
For Waterfest, the Unitronic team wanted to make sure we drove down our MK8 Golf R which had just been fitted with our prototype Cat-Back Exhaust System as well. After hundreds of miles and several days of round-trip driving, this car left the entire team thoroughly impressed with its great driving dynamics, power and comfort.
Joining us from Pennsylvania, Brian Saxon drove over his Unitronic Tuned R8 V10+ featuring Boost Logic turbos and a titanium exhaust system which drew a crowd all weekend and quickly made it onto the Afterfest Top 100 list.
Day two started under threatening skies with a strong chance of afternoon showers but that didn't stop many enthusiasts for bringing their vehicles down and having a good time with friends and family.
